Bitwise Design, Inc. was founded in April, 2006 as Bitwise Design. Bitwise Design was created and developed by Ray A. Graham, Jr. as a sole proprietorship in response to the current need for an outside computer engineering consultant to fulfill the engineering projects and needs that often could not be met or accomplished by businesses themselves.

Bitwise Design recognized that companies are increasingly discovering that their current software development practices routinely face obstacles and set-backs that drive-up costs and delay market projections or expectations, often hindering their financial or marketable success.

Bitwise Design began working with its clients to ensure that their products and/or services could meet their customers' needs; generate reliable and robust products and/or services; decrease costs; and establish a plan of process control, including accurate requirements definition, documentation, and testing.

Subsequent growth and success of Bitwise Design contributed to re-naming and restructuring the firm in December, 2006 to Bitwise Design, Inc. Our new name showcases the strong presence and character of our firm by recognizing and anticipating the needs of small and large businesses alike.
